Mafia: The Old Country Release Date Leaked via Steam Post

Neither 2K Games nor Hangar 13 has officially announced the release date for Mafia: The Old Country. However, a Steam blog post promoting an upcoming panel at PAX East inadvertently revealed the date. The release is expected to be officially confirmed during the panel on May 8, 2025.

A Glimpse into Mafia’s Origins

Mafia: The Old Country was first announced in August 2024 and takes players to early 1900s Sicily, exploring the roots of the Italian Mafia. The game features a linear, story-driven experience centered on Enzo Favara, a young man forced to work in Sicily's sulfur mines during his youth. Enzo’s journey follows his rise as a member of Don Torrisi’s crime family.

Development and Platforms

The game is being developed by Hangar 13, known for Mafia III and Mafia: Definitive Edition. It will launch on August 8, 2025, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Fans can expect stunning visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5 and a focus on historical authenticity.
