Gin Rummy

"Gin Rummy" is a classic and engaging card game where the objective is to strategically arrange one's hand into sets and runs. Players must place their cards in either groups of the same rank or in sequential order of the same suit. Points are scored by eliminating these combinations from one's hand. The game concludes when a player reaches the pre-determined target score, typically set at 100 points.

For individuals who have not played Gin Rummy previously, the core premise is to have less unmatched cards, or 'deadwood', than one's opponent, or ideally, no deadwood at all. The opponent's deadwood amount becomes the player's points. If the opponent's points exceed 100, the player loses. Conversely, if the player reaches 100 points before the opponent, the player emerges victorious.
