All alphabetical characters appear one or more times in the grid and are represented by the same unique numerical identifier across the entire grid. To aid the user, several letters are disclosed prior to the commencement of the game. To input a letter and decipher the code, the user must click on a cell and then either type or click on the desired letter to place it in the selected cell.
